Event Description

Women Veterans Alliance in partnership with our nonprofit partner California Capital Financial Development Corporation (Tax ID # 94-2861631) will be hosting the Women Veterans Alliance Unconference.  This 3 day event will provide resources and an amazing experience for all women that served from WWII to current, representing all branches. Our goal is to equip, empower, and encourage participants by providing opportunities to connect with services providers, fellow women veterans, employers, and through interactive workshops.

We will begin Friday night with a Mardi Gras themed Welcome Reception with a veteran owned vendor area. Day 2 includes morning keynote speakers followed by afternoon educational/professional breakouts that will run concurrently. In addition there will be an area designated to focus on personal wellbeing.  An exhibitor area will be available Friday and Saturday afternoons.

Event Marketing

This 3 day event will be marketed on social media, radio, TV, print publications, to previous attendees, veteran organizations, through speakers, college campuses and women organizations.  We maintain a user friendly website and submit information to a variety of website calendars.  We also encourage all vendors/exhibitors to promote through their channels about participating in this event. 

Event Information

Vendors on Friday night must donate a prize to be used in the raffle.  For both days, 6 foot tables and 2 chairs will be provided.  All vendor and exhibitor space will be outside, please plan accordingly. Placement of vendors/exhibitors are determined by event manager.  Vendor/Exhibitors shall not move booths at any time.
